Welcome!!
We were so excited to see so many new faces this week in KidsRock!

If you have been attending SL2 for awhile, you may have noticed we made some new (and AWESOME!) changes to the look of KidsRock!

First of all, we moved everyone to the large gym! Bed Rock has now moved up to the Rock Quarry. The Gems (preschool) and Pebbles (babies) have moved up to be near their k-5 friends and family! We can already see that the kids are LOVING being together!

Having all of KidsRock together in one place will hopefully help make life a little easier for you as well by creating a one stop check in. The Check in table will now be located by the gate in front of the gym.

We also began a new series today, titled God Loves Us, and would like to welcome our new RockStars Ricky and Taylor! Our RockStars are student worship leaders who help teach the rest of us how to dance and the words to our new worship songs.  If your child is interested in being a RockStar for our next series, make sure to tell one of the KidsRock staff and we will contact you when it is time for auditions.

Over the next month we will be studying:

Jan. 8th- In my beginning: God loves me, created me, and knows everything about me
Jan. 15th- Falling Over: God loves me too much to leave me in sin
Jan. 22nd- Life of Love: Jesus' life shows me how to live
Jan. 29th- God So loved: Jesus died on the cross for you and for me

Check out your childs' group tab above for their weekly take home activities and questions. These provide awesome at home talking points for your family. We hope you enjoy using them as much as we enjoy teaching them to your child! 

Jesus' birthday party!

Thank you to everyone who came to our birthday party for Jesus! It was a BLAST!! the kids had a great time playing games, hitting the pinata, and decorating cupcakes. (and of course, jump in the bounce houses!) They also got to sing Christmas songs, draw pictures of what they would like to give Jesus for his birthday, and learn more about why we celebrate Christmas. Jesus is truly the reason for this amazing season!

We look forward to celebrating with you next weekend at our FAMILY Christmas Eve service. Saturday night at 4pm! See you there!

November News and Songs!

We can't believe that is is already November!! We will be starting a new series this weekend and will be sending home a newsletter with each child! Here is a sneak peek of the newsletter and new songs! If you can, have your child listen to these songs before sunday so they can be familiar with them! We look forward to seeing you sunday!

Great Day in KidsRock!

Thank you to everyone to came to the SL2 launch today!! We had an amazing time in KidsRock! We also thank you for your patience as we handled glitches with the sign in system. Next week it will be up and running smoothly! If you are planning on coming and have not signed up yet, we highly recommend filling out your registration form Here (click on the link and you can fill out your registration online).By doing this your child will be ready to jump right into the fun at SL2!

Today every child was engaged and having fun from the moment they stepped into the big gym to when their parents picked them up! Between the art centers, games, books, balls, bowling and bounce houses there was something for everyone! We also enjoyed meeting "Stunt Man Dan" and the KidsRockstars during our large group lesson! In small group we got to know our classmates and learn about how Jesus died to save us from our sin! How cool is that??
